Today, the 16th of February 2023, WES launched an activity on plastic pollution in Lebanon and Palestine. The activity will identify small scale “model” approaches for sorting and recycling plastics including actions to reduce the use of plastics in these two countries, to examine and “perfect” them and then “demonstrate” them as “champions” for others to replicate, follow or get inspired.
The WES team of experts presented the objectives of the activity, its methodology and expected results, and the schedule of implementation.
