Environment Activities

WES will support the implementation of the Regional Plan for the Management of Marine Litter in the Mediterranean and the Integrated Monitoring and Assessment Program of the Barcelona Convention for Algeria. This will be done by generating data adapted to needs on the quantities, types, composition and sources of marine litter on the sea surface and on the seabed and by identifying management measures to combat tf marine litter.

This activity aims to strengthen the system of support and promotion of green entrepreneurship through the integration of a specific training offer in the university environment addressed to university teachers and young Algerian university students and likely to contribute to sustainable development of the green and circular economy in Algeria.
