N-E-LB-1: Revision of sectoral guidelines and Emission Limit Values (ELVs) for industrial activities in Lebanon

This activity will provide assistance to the Ministry of Environment in Lebanon for the prevention/abatement of industrial pollution through and the revision and the improvement of guidelines in the food, construction sector and also in commenting on the draft industrial wastewater standards that are being developed by the MoE.

N-E-LB-2b: Policy support to address single-use plastic items in Lebanon

WES will focus on the the analysis of single-use plastics activity (data analysis, sector assessment, technical measures accompanying the conversion of plastic bag manufacturers, the proposal of a policy) leading to a legal text for the progressive phasing out of plastic bags; This activity will be implemented in line with the respective guidelines, developed by United Nations Environment -Mediterranan Action Plan on phasing out single use plastic bags.

N-E-LB-PS-P2: Investigating and developing a compendium with successful approaches of EPR system for plastics in Lebanon and Palestine
