The EU funded Water and Environment support (WES) project has just published an e- leaflet on “Enhancing the Gender and Youth related components of formal, non-formal and informal Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)”.

While the WES aims at protecting natural resources and improving the management of scarce water resources in the Mediterranean region, it also addresses gender and youth aspects within its work programme implemented in the MENA countries.

Therefore, the WES team has prepared and will widely distribute this e-leaflet to Mediterranean stakeholders, in order to strengthen the involvement of women and young adults in water and environment-related management, specifically through education.

The e-leaflet provides some tips on what educators in formal, non-formal and informal settings can do to break down gender and youth inequalities.
